Today we went to Big Bazaar and planned to buy stuffs for Namru like baby oil, soap, talc etc. and we literally fought with each other which brand and what size to buy. I was saying Johnson & Johnson and she was adamant on Himalya. I told her Johnson & Johnson has a brand in the market and is a trusted for over 20, 25 years but she was like Himalaya offers natural, ayurvedic and blah blah.

You tell me which one you would go for, trusted for 25 years for babies or new one in the market?

I created a new category “Namr” specially for the articles to be published for my would be child whom we have given a nick name “Namru“.

After going through the Chinese calendars about predicting the sex of the child and many other provisions available these days, she came to know that it’s gonna be a boy.

Although I don’t believe in all those things but thinking about the examples she gave proving that this has 99.99% positive probability, I also, somewhat, made up my mind that it’s gonna be a boy although I love girls and definitely wish to have a baby girl.

So, being prepared for a boy, I gave him a name Namr (meaning soft) and from Namr the nick name arrived as Namru. Although it is not a final name but we refer to him as Namru.

Soon she started saying on phone calls that “Namru is remembering you” and Namru this and Namru that so we have got used to this name very much these days.

I have developed a pet dialogue “Namreeee O Namreeeeeee“. I keep reciting it all the time whenever I am around him and her.

Namru has definitely started to move around inside her belly and and kicking outside too. She is feeling it for 3 weeks now but somehow he kept silent as soon as I reach to him.

But 19th Jan was the day when I felt his kick too. Only couple of them but believe me they were really hard.

We were on the sofa when she shouted (as always) that Namru is kicking, I immediately lied down on her belly and tried to feel it and to my WOW I felt it this time. It was a damn solid punch like that of Mohammad Ali’s punch. I heard a very hard voice too.

It was a terrific feeling. I kept lying and he hit it again. WOW, he is really solid it seems.

He might have guessed that papa is listening, so he calmed down and mom also took rest 🙂

I am really really happy to have an out of the world feeling. I am on seven clouds at the moment. Hope everything goes OK.
