We finally had Anya coming to our life on 12th May 2011 at 7:30 PM. The proudest and happiest moment of our life. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Frankly speaking, I always wanted a girl to enlighten our life ahead but Eti wanted a boy, no specific reasons though, but all signals including Chinese calender, straight line etc were pointing to a boy. Somebody had rightly said, husbands like girls and wife likes boys. That was true in our case also. And being an obeying husband I also started having a feel of a boy. {No offense to girls or boys though, please)
Today we went to Big Bazaar and planned to buy stuffs for Namru like baby oil, soap, talc etc. and we literally fought with each other which brand and what size to buy. I was saying Johnson & Johnson and she was adamant on Himalya. I told her Johnson & Johnson has a brand in the market and is a trusted for over 20, 25 years but she was like Himalaya offers natural, ayurvedic and blah blah.
You tell me which one you would go for, trusted for 25 years for babies or new one in the market?
Here is the video of her undergoing Fetal anomaly scan on 23rd Feb 2011. That is 28th week beginning scan.
She was actually feeling very less movements in her abdomen for some time and I was worried so we went down to meet Dr Maria Patil, Camp, Pune and she immediately asked us to undergo an anomaly scan although the heart beats were fine and healthy.
We could not take chance and underwent an USG right there in Camp at Gulati’s clinic. It was quick and to our satisfaction. Everything was good. Namru is doing good inside. It is just that baby does not move a lot sometimes.
